Memorial Day is precious to us, especially because we serve so many military families who have either lost loved ones in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, or have had a family member return from tour of duty bearing significant wounds of conflict. Joni and Friends' Wounded Warrior Getaways have been acclaimed by top chaplain offices in the Armed Forces, and the outreach continues to grow. Watch the video below to see how Marine Corps Captain Ryan Voltin has found hope and healing at our Wounded Warrior Getaway.

Join us in praying for the Gospel to bear fruit among our brave men and women in the military. If you know of a wounded warrior and his or her family who would enjoy our Wounded Warrior Getaway, let us know. Or if you are a warrior, tell us about your recent tour of duty below.

Heavenly Father, bless & keep safe each one of our military & their families, bless them for the sacrifices they've made for our freedoms, help meet their moment by moment challenges that lie ahead and may you receive the glory in this. Bless Joni & Ken and all the JAF staff for this WWGetaway our service families can come and allow You to heal them & give spiritual hope. We citizens are not grateful enough for the sacrifices our fellow brothers & sisters are making on our behalf. We ask this in our precious Lord Jesus Christs name, Amen ~ God bless you all for your service to our country!

Hello Joni, I praise God for your vision to honor and help those who are wounded while they serve our country. I believe that God will receive much glory as these suffering ones are remembered and helped. Please know that there are those who pray for you, that you would not grow weary in doing good. The harvest will be great!!
