God Uses Your Faith In Action to Change Lives Every time you step out in faith to help people with disabilities worldwide, God uses you to transform lives. Mariellena is a hard-working woman from Guatemala who takes care of 6-year-old Christian. When Christian was born disabled, his mom didn't want him anymore and gave him to Mariellena. Mariellena and her husband have four children of their own, but she cares for Christian like he’s her own son. However, her husband doesn't help care for or support Christian’s needs because he isn't his father.

Mariellena was a woman in much need of hope. She cared for Christian all alone, and knew there was no way she could buy a much-needed wheelchair for him on her daily salary of around two dollars and seventy cents washing clothes.

However, because of your faith-in-action, Mariellena and Christian received a miracle at a Wheels for the World outreach! A wheelchair was brought out for Christian and carefully fitted to his little body. Wheels therapists and local Joni and Friends church partners rejoiced over Mariellena and Christian. God’s love was lavishly poured over mother and adopted child – and it all began with prayer and faithfulness from you.

God’s love and faithfulness became real to Mariellena and little Christian because you sent a wheelchair and Bible, showing them the unfailing love of Jesus Christ. It costs just $150 to send a restored adult wheelchair, and $220 to send a brand-new pediatric wheelchair! Thank you for changing lives today!
