Joni: I was just shown your website and you are an amazing inspiration. I am facing 3 huge surgeries for spinal cord compression and scoliosis. I do not know if I should try this risky surgery and I am full of fear. I am trying to trust God and love to hear your messages of hope and living for God and loving others. Thank you for your ministry. Sincerely, Emily Everhart

I just got your book, "A Place of Healing". I read about your story years ago in the 70's and have read many of your other books. It just broke my heart to read that you were (are?)dealing with relentless pain. UGH..I hate pain. I will pray for you and I must say that I imagine it blesses Jesus', God's, the Holy Spirit's, and all of the saints' hearts by the way you accept the suffering and STILL believe in the goodness of God. I am so happy that you are truly able to LOVE God through everything. I will pray for you, though, because I just hate to see anyone in pain. I have not been able to really watch the Passion of the Christ without trying to numb myself through it because watching Jesus suffer so intensely is unbearable. God Bless You and Ken, your ministry, and all the people you minister to! One day...Jesus will set things right and there will be no more pain or sorrow....thank you for showing how living can be done in the meantime.

You look fabulous, as always, Joni! Your energy and enthusiasm in taking care of God's business and your unrelenting schedule are evidence of God's power and daily miracles. Keeping you in my prayers, Deborah L.

I am a single female who has followed our Lord for 41 of my 49 years. I also am fairly new to disability--I have fibromyalgia and myositis, both of which affects my balance and requires I use a walker in public places. I have read most of Joni's books, but only until recently do I understand a little bit of how she had to accept her body as it is, wheelchair and all. My question is: I just finished her latest book, and she "mentioned" she had breast cancer. How did her surgery stop it?

Thank you so very much for the inspiration you have been to me personally for the past 26 years and even more so for the inspiration you have been to my sister in the past month. I had given her a book that you had written for Christmas and your perspective through trials has brought her out of a pit that I was sure would destroy her at any time. The Lord has used you mightily for many years and will continue to do so. You are already a legacy in many hearts. Praise Him for willing submissive vessels like yourself !!! Love you !!
