Picture of Ken TadaMy husband Ken has always been an inspiration to me, but during the last month or so, my love and respect for him as skyrocketed – as you know, I recently had surgery for breast cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. NEVER has there been a more helpful, considerate, caring husband than Ken! He ought to be awarded a honorary degree in nursing. We both agree that this battle against cancer has drawn us even closer together. For all that he has invested in my struggle against cancer? He gets voted tops in my book for “Most Inspiring People!”

I am disabled, with arthrogryposis. I am 12 years old and Joni has inspired me so much. The way she always looks at the bright side of everything when it's tough. I've always felt bad because my parents are always stressed and I just add on to the pile of things that they need to due. Even though they always have something to do, but they always find time to help me, and love me. But I always feel like I take them away from him.

God bless Ken and God bless you, Joni. My husband and I have always been very close. August 1 I rushed him to the ER where he was found to have necrotizing fasciitis, flesh eating bacteria. He pulled through but the surgeon had to take most of the lower part of his left leg, all the tissue, down to the bone. We have seen God's hand solidly in control of the incredible healing that has blown everyone at the hospital away. We have an eight year old daughter who we homeschool and she's been with us every step of the way, every doctor appointment, skin graft surgery, all of the wound care appointments. We have a new vocabulary. We know more about a disease than we care to know about it. I know how much an illness impacts a family and you are SO blessed to have this man beside you every step of the way. Hugs and love to you both.

You and Ken are a match made in heaven! The LORD provided the perfec husband and wife for the two of you (and it doesn't hurt that you two look so cute together!) Look forward to the day we will see His Face and worship Him together forever! He remembers the difficult times and will be well pleased that you both followed Him despite many difficulties. Just think - the day is coming when we have our new bodies and be able to worship Him and see His Beautiful Face! You and Ken will dance for joy and we will be grateful and blessed to see it!
