Heather and Sara

This month we are taking some time to talk about God as a forgiving God and what it means for us to forgive, too. In the video about Heather and Sara, Sara uses crutches to walk because of a disability called cerebral palsy or CP. While you do this experiment to learn more about what it might be like to have CP, think about these questions. Why do you think Heather tied Sara’s crutches to her chair? Do you think it was easy or hard for Sara to offer Heather money for her lunch? Sara talked about sin being like vines tying her down. Have you ever felt like sin is tying you down? What is one thing you have done that you know God has forgiven you for doing? Is there someone you need to forgive so you can be a better friend?
